Premature ejaculation, is this serious problem?

Hi, im a 16 year old male, according to my girlfriend i dont have a small penis, at 6.9 inches, but whenever she starts to feel around that region my arousal increases, which i suppose is normal, and not yet has it reached anything more than that due to me getting aroused too quickly.
This all involved us both wearing clothes and lieing on a bed, could it be down to the way i was lieing? (Pressure making it more likely)
Or could it just be down to my age and inexperience? Thanks.

I start to feel aroused and often begin to come, when she is rubbing my penis or stroking it, this is with my boxers on though, i get even more aroused when her hands touch the penis itself.
Should i not masturbate as often?
I do about 1 times a day.
